As the First Listening Bar in the region, it boldly merges the robustness of brutalism with the sleek elegance of contemporary minimalism, creating a space that is as visually arresting as the music it houses.
Kool Kongsi Listening Bar is more than a bar; it's a concept that immerses patrons in an extraordinary fusion of industrial allure and minimalist precision. It reimagines the traditional bar experience, putting a spotlight on sound quality while enveloping guests in a visually stimulating ambiance.
The aesthetic qualities of Kool Kongsi Listening Bar are a play of contrasts. Customised tables, crafted from raw mild steel flat bars as table legs and adorned with carefully selected marble top from Spain and Italy, introduce a rich diversity of colours and patterns. This deliberate diversity guarantees that each table becomes an individual work of art, contributing to the eclectic charm of the space.
The bar itself is a focal point of innovation, featuring plywood joinery left in its bare wooden finish. The top is a customized stainless-steel surface, housing a vinyl record DJ deck. This juxtaposition of materials not only pays homage to the tactile beauty of natural elements but also serves as a nod to the evolution of music technology. The bar, with its integrated DJ deck, transforms the act of ordering a drink into a multisensory experience, inviting patrons to engage with the vinyl records on display.
