Atap Design Awards Week Returns to Empower Design Talents, Drive Positive Change

The Atap Design Awards (ADA) triumphantly returns for its 5th consecutive year, promising a grander celebration of design excellence than ever before.

From December 7th to 9th, ADA Week delves into the theme of Embracing Talents, Creating Change through engaging events, thought-provoking discussions, and a celebration of the next generation of design leaders.

Prepare to be captivated by an immersive and unforgettable design experience where creativity knows no bounds. This year’s ADA Gala Night unfolds at the esteemed JW Marriott Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, a luxurious backdrop that perfectly complements the event’s grandeur. Collaborations with premium lifestyle brands such as BMW Millennium Welt and Moet Hennessy further elevate the experience, showcasing the intersection of design, luxury, and lifestyle.

Day 1: Envision – ADA Designer Conference

ADA Week kicks off with the return of the highly anticipated ADA Designer Conference, “Envision”. This engaging day of events features captivating keynote sessions from design luminaries, thought-provoking forum discussions that explore the latest trends, an interactive workshop that hones design skills, and the brand-new “Design Fusion” segment, where brands and designers converge to curate speciality display products.

Day 2: Awards Ceremony and Gala Night

Witness the pinnacle of ADA Week on Day 2, where the spotlight shines on exceptional talent. A pre-event networking session in partnership with BMW Millennium Welt sets the stage for an evening of celebration and recognition. The main awards and gala night at the JW Marriott Hotel will include a special tasting session with Moet Hennessy, promising an evening of culinary delights, creative camaraderie, and a night to remember.

Day 3: Winning Project Gallery Showcase

Let the celebration continue on Day 3 with the Winning Project Gallery Showcase at the TOTO Showroom by W. Atelier. This inspiring showcase will feature the previous night’s winning projects, each exemplifying the theme of Embracing Talents, Creating Change. An awards ceremony will also recognize the Best Young Designer, the ADA Student Icons 2023, and more.
