    Atap.co is an online platform that connects homeowners or anyone with a space with professionals like interior designers and architects.

    The sign-up process is easy! You can choose to sign up via Facebook or Google or simply by filling in your Name, Email, and Atap Password here.

  2. What should I use Atap for?

    If you’re a home or space owner, you can get inspiration for your dream space by browsing interior design photos and portfolios – you can even save these photos on your Inspoboard for future reference.

    If you’re looking for renovation work on your home or space, simply click ‘Request Quote’ and follow the steps to filling in your property details. If you like the work of a particular Professional, click ‘Request Quote’ on that Professional’s portfolio to get a quotation from that Professional. If you don’t have a preference for a particular Professional, then click here so we can connect you with a suitable Professional.

    Yes! You can request for quotations, use our tools, and read our stories for free.

  4. Why should I choose Atap? What sets Atap apart from other similar platforms?

    At Atap, we provide you with a ‘Request Quote’ form where you can indicate your property type, budget, size, preferred style, status of unit, location, and completion date. So only professionals who can meet these criteria will contact you. We do this to provide you with Professionals who are better equipped to meet your needs, saving you the time and frustration of dealing with those who cannot.

  5. Who are the Professionals?

    Professionals are interior designers, contractors, and architects that belong to trusted, registered firms.

  6. How can you guarantee the quality of service from the firms?

    Prior to featuring the firms on Atap, our team does thorough background checks to ensure the reliability of our professionals.

  7. Does the quotation provided include furniture, designing fees, and a contractor?

    When you click ‘Request Quote’, you will be guided to indicate the extent of work required from a Professional. If you have chosen to include furniture, designing fees, and contractor services in your budget, then they will be included in the quotation.

  8. How do I request for a quotation?

    It’s easy! All you have to do is click on the ‘Request Quote’ button that can be found throughout the site and fill up the information required.

  9. How long will it take to complete my project?

    The timeline of your project completion can be specified in the ‘Request Quote’ form so the Professional contacting you is aware of your preferred timeline. However, we advise you to have further discussions on timeline with the Professional to set reasonable expectations.

  10. What if I am unsatisfied with the final design provided to me? What if there are errors in the design?

    Prior to engaging with a Professional, it is best to review their portfolios for a better understanding of their work and general style. This helps to ensure that you and the Professional share similar styles and design ideas. Once you’ve chosen a Professional, it’s best to provide the Professional with reference images and to have multiple discussions on the designs to avoid an unsatisfactory outcome.

  11. Do I get to pick the professional I’d like to work with or are they provided for me?

    Yes, you can pick a Professional you’d like to work with. We work with many Professionals and you can select them after viewing their portfolios. Do this by clicking ‘Request Quote’ on their profile.

    If you don’t have a particular Professional in mind, then, click on ‘Request Quote’ on our homepage. From there, only Professionals who are able to work with your criteria will contact you.

  12. What if I’ve forgotten my password?

    Don’t worry, you can still access your account by clicking on ‘Forgot your password’ on the login page, then providing your email address. Our team will send you a reset password link where you can change your password.

    If you are unable to receive the link or face other difficulties accessing your account, you can always contact us via email support@atap.co or live chat.

  13. Can I change my login email?

    Yes, you can! Just login with your account here and go to ‘Profile’, change your login email and update. It’s that easy.

  14. What if I am undecided about the style and theme of my space?

    Don’t worry, we can help! You can browse through the Projects, Ideas, and Expert Tips segments to find inspiration. If you still undecided, click on ‘Request Quote’ on our homepage, and fill in the details. Choose a few shortlisted styles and when a Professional contacts you, you can seek for advice on suitable styles and themes.

  15. How can Atap guarantee a professional and efficient service?

    The company credentials of the Professionals listed on Atap have been vetted beforehand – look out for the ‘Atap.co Verified Professional’ badge on certain profiles. You can also refer to portfolios as testaments to the Professionals’ work.

  16. How would I know if the Professional is certified or licensed?

    We ensure that all our Professionals have verified company credentials and we add verified badges ‘Atap.co Verified Professional’ to their profiles.

  17. I do not have the floor plan of my space, what should I do?

    Don’t fret, if you are unable to locate your floor plan, you can always get a copy from your unit developer. You can also provide us with a rough size estimate when requesting for a quote.

  18. I would like to change the details on the quotation form I had filled, is this possible?

    Yes, you can do so by contacting us via email support@atap.co or live chat.

  19. How do I search for specific ideas or Professionals?

    Atap is equipped with a search tab at the top of every page, allowing you to type in keywords or names to locate what you are looking for. If you’re still unable to find what you are looking for, you can always contact us via email support@atap.co or live chat.

  20. Can I request quotes from more than one Professional?

    Yes, you can! We want you to find the most suitable professional for your space so we encourage you to send multiple quotation requests.

  21. Can I request a quote from a Professional who has done a project that I am interested in, even though it does not match the specifications of my property?

    Yes, you can! The projects featured are to show you the past works of a Professional, but can also act as an inspiration for your space, even if it has different criteria. Just make sure to be as accurate and specific as possible when you fill in the ‘Request Quote’ form, so that the Professional is informed of your criteria.

  22. Can I request for a quote from a firm not located in my state?

    Yes, you can.

  23. What is Inspoboard?

    The Inspoboard is a feature on Atap that helps you organise Photos, Ideas, Portfolios, and Profiles that catch your eye while browsing the platform.

  24. What does the “Pin” button do?

    The pin option allows you to save any Photos, Ideas, Portfolios, and Profiles that catch your eye while browsing the platform.

  25. How long will I have to wait for a reply from Professionals?

    Once your request has been sent, you will receive a reply within 2 working days. If you have yet to receive any reply from our Professionals, you can contact us via live chat or email at support@atap.co.

  26. Why should I use Atap as a medium to contact the Professional I am interested in?

    Apart from providing you with a wide variety of Professionals on one platform, Atap helps streamline the process of obtaining a quotation. By providing the information on our Quote Request form, only Professionals who are able to meet your criteria will contact you. This helps you compare quotations and designs without all the hassle!

  27. Can I be assured that the information I provide won’t be abused?
