Interior Design Project Info
A showunit with the actual location at Tropicana Metropark, we designed this project based on a chic Japanese :Wabi Sabi concept which features a clean-lined, home with combined aesthetics and functions for the moern growing family. A tearoom inspired guest cum study greets the entrance foyer with a sliding door in Tsuji screen paper welcomes one in. The sliding doors are done to maximize spaciousness as well as to give lights to the entrance area. The very wide 20feet living dining is designed to connect visually and functionally with the island kitchen to serve as the key entertaining heart of the home. Adorned in whites, creams and accents of dark wood and a Mediterranean stone feature panel for the living, walls and ceilings are kept clean-lined and with gentle curves to accentuate the clean uncluttered space. Dark smoked black wood paired with pastel pink mosaics and white stone countertops are used at the kitchen to give it a 'pop' feature to the overall natural color palette. Bedrooms are individually themed to enhance marketing value to the showunit taking care to maximize storage and space planning of the rooms instead of cluttering them with unnecessary built-ins. Decors and lightings are carefully curated together with rustic textured feature paint inspired by organic rocks and oriental minimalist artworks to complete the overall space. As the color palette is based on whites and off whites meticulous attention was given to the different layerings of textures and materials, using natural wood veneers and organic textures to create a minimalist zen look with a chic twist.
The showunit comes with a 1500sqft sales lounge which is designed with a Roku garden feature at the foyer, discussion tables and a VR screen wall to serve visitors. A gallery wall designed with the same concept of wabisabi features product information for the showunit.
