Interior Design Project Info
Nestled along the quiet Jalan Kapas enclave, this property comprises one of 12 whole-floor units in 12 Kapas – an exclusive luxury condominium situated within the highly affluent Bangsar neighbourhood. As commissioned by our client, this grand 5770 sq. ft. property was envisioned as a private holiday home for a family of seven with a modern luxury interior design aesthetic in mind. The result is a homely yet sophisticated holiday residence for the modern urbanite family.
An essential part of the design behind this project was the separation between common living areas and the private spaces of the residents themselves, which is conveniently demarcated by the private lift lobby at the centre of the two zones. Upon exiting the foyer to the left, the grandeur of the unit’s sheer size and volume become quickly apparent, and extends to a balcony area offering uninhibited views of the idyllic neighbourhood. The area has two main sections, one half comprising the dry kitchen and main dining area and the other distinguished by its spacious living hall and smaller entertainment area purposed for general and more private social interactions respectively. The other end of the foyer leads to the private living spaces including four bedrooms and a family hall for more intimate family gatherings.
