Design Concept: Contemporary Elegant

𝐀𝐧 𝐀𝐢𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

To reflect the cultured nature of Vanzo and its products, an elegant contemporary concept was chosen for its expansive 7,800 sq ft headquarters. For the palette, the company's signature black was eschewed in favour of its alternate white colour scheme in order to amplify the premises' existing sense of spaciousness. Shades of grey and brown were added to the mix in order to create the desired aura of refined serenity.

This effect was created in the lobby primarily through the extensive use of light grey marble slabs for the flooring, reception desk and feature wall behind the aforementioned desk. Flanked by panels of dark wood, the feature wall directs the attention of customers to the company's logo on it which is further highlighted by overhead lighting. A total of three types of ceiling lights illuminate the waiting area which is made stylishly comfortable with curved grey lounge furniture and an oval gold coffee table.

For the work space, more practical materials which still adhered to the established palette were naturally chosen. The open office layout similarly promotes a sense of spaciousness which is emphasised through the use of simple overhead lighting and black workstations with wood panel table tops. Furthermore, patterned carpet tiles mark the hallway instead of partition walls and frosted glass doors instead of solid ones separate the work space from the meeting room.

Meanwhile, the private offices utilise different combinations of materials and furnishings to further set them apart from the common work space. One office boasts fabric wall panels and a light grey marble table top to go with its white furniture and ceiling. In contrast, the other office is primarily bedecked in wood with the highlights being the fluted wall panels and the desk's grand top.

A sense of quiet grandeur was even imbued into the office's social spaces including the pantry to maintain the established aesthetic. The break room deserves special mention for its blend of plush and chic elements that create the ideal atmosphere in which to have a brief respite.
