With 150 years in the industry, the luxury sanitation brand joined hands with Atap.co, welcoming interior designers into the brand’s exclusive loyalty program, the KOHLER Design Community.

Exuding luxury and innovation since 1873, KOHLER Malaysia recently collaborated with Atap.co for an exclusive event uniting 30 interior design firms nationwide. Taking place on November 16th at The Best Supplies showroom, a newly opened venue in Petaling Jaya, the special evening was a celebration of heritage, excellence and collaboration as designers were able to fully immerse themselves into the world of KOHLER.

Filled with luxurious sanitary ware and fittings, the showroom features walls and sections of expertly crafted shower columns to ceramic faucets and cast iron tubs. Offering a diverse selection of products and materials, any style, theme or special requirement is easily achieved. As an added bonus, KOHLER also provides kitchenware that helps make spaces look more cohesive.

Kickstarting the event was Sze Wee from Atap.co who gave a warm welcome before giving the floor to Jamie Chow, Country Manager of KOHLER Malaysia. “We want to reward the interior designers and the community. It’s our time to step up the ball game with our products,” expressed Chow, underlining KOHLER’s commitment to elevating the interior design landscape.

“We always believe in quality. If we’re putting our name on it, it has to be of good quality.”

– Jamie Chow, Country Manager of KOHLER Malaysia

Chow proceeded by emphasizing KOHLER’s unwavering commitment to excellence since the brand was founded by John Michael Kohler 150 years ago. Initially starting as a manufacturer of cast iron and steel farm implements, Kohler experienced a breakthrough in 1883 when the company coated a horse trough with enamel, leading to the creation of the brand’s first-ever bathtub. This marked a shift in the company’s focus towards innovating and improving plumbing products and has since been a respected name in the plumbing industry. Fast forward to today, its latest ranges–the Occasion, Parallel, Brazn, Statement and Anthem, allow users to enjoy luxurious sanitation experiences regardless of their style preferences and needs.

She then delved into the KOHLER Design Community (KDC), a loyalty program aimed at enriching the lives of KOHLER clients. At KDC, interior designers can earn exclusive rewards, promotions and privileges that can help benefit their businesses.

The event then took an interactive turn as interior designers were divided into groups for a personalized and detailed tour of the showroom with live demonstrations of the products. This tailored experience allowed guests to have a first-hand experience of KOHLER’s offerings, fostering a deep sense of appreciation and understanding of the brand’s design philosophy and craftsmanship.

Ending the evening, designers were treated to a selection of delectable food and drinks as they continued to network with one another and examine KOHLER’s products one-on-one. To sum up, the event proved to be a great platform for designers to immerse themselves into a world of innovation and workmanship and develop relationships with the brand.
