Interior Design Project Info

Uncle Tom is an energetic contemporary bar and restaurant with live music hosting some of the most exciting and eclectic live bands from around the city. The interior design revolves around Uncle Tom, a fictional character and namesake of the restaurant. Uncle Tom has a fun loving nature, loves char kuey teow and loves the spirit of the tropics.

The work covered the entire conceptualisation of the theme (logo to menu artwork) and interior and custom furniture design consistent with the spirit of Uncle Tom.

Design considerations included maximising seating capacity to client’s requirement, incorporating a live stage and bar whilst working around the constraints of the site’s layout.

We enjoyed ourselves a lot during this journey as there are alot of personal touch and involvement from the client to create an absolutely unique design that compliments the character of Uncle Tom!
