Interior Design & Architectural Project Info
This project called for the existing facade to be retained, a new insertion of a pet grooming room, car porch and relocation of existing kitchen at upper floor to ground floor. The existing 30 years old house has multiple split levels within its existing 2.5 storey facade.
The design placed importance on functionality for the users and also to provide a facelift of a simple modern interior for the young family. Oh Residence links a series of white spaces with subtle shifts in tone, texture and material, that layer together to create a visually rich home.
The dining and kitchen were placed at the ground level as you enter the house; giving a private living space on the upper floor instead. The dining area comes with a terrace nestled within a private garden; wet kitchen is also a semi-enclosed space that opens up to the garden as well. Allowing the indoor & outdoor spillover space to happen.
