Interior Design Project Info
The house represents the owner look in its purest form, it is a tranquil and ordered space, modern in feel and with a natural color palette. In the interior we create a layered, structured and visually dynamic interior out of a vast open space, while still reveling in the glory of its proportions.
This is open plan on the interior. Under the sliding window at the side of the unit is living area that stretches nearly the entire length of the interior space. Two six-person sofas are butted up again each other, facing various armchair, long bench and two chairs. The large-scale opening explored opportunity for living, kitchen and dining, an integral aspect to the client brief addressing the need for entertaining spaces to sit, perch and mingle.
Through the exploration, we were successful at creating an open space that spills out onto the small garden allows for this connection between the kitchen, dining and living.
Parallel to this, toward the central of the space, is the dining area, with a table that can accommodate the nine persons. With a similarly long kitchen, at one end of which is a more intimate dining area, completes a triumvirate of zone.
The house was shrouded in a simple neutral color and material palette, with wood and stone texture as the main thread with creates a low-key aesthetic that blend naturally with its surroundings. A combination that balanced interior with subtle detailing. Shades of grey, brown and beige create tranquility and elegance. A few simple, black lines such as in the lighting, taps and door and window frames create a beautiful and refined detail. The result here is as always balanced, elegant and simple with a subtle, timeless and high-end interior.
