Each of the 14 spaces within Sentral Suites pays tribute to traditional games, with three main lobbies dedicated to Sepak Takraw, Congkak, and Gasing. The attention to detail in each lobby truly captures the essence of the respective games.
The Sepak Takraw Lobby features oval cutouts adorned with hexagonal patterns, creating an illusion of a mid-kick rattan ball and suspended pendant lights enhancing the ambience. While the Congkak Lobby is inspired by the rhythmic circular motion of dropping marbles into storehouses, offering an immersive experience. And lastly, the Gasing Lobby spotlights the centrepiece pendant, drawing inspiration from the shapes and designs of spinning tops, adding a touch of tradition to modern design.
The Five Stones Lounge & Reading Corner beautifully captures the pouch shape of Batu Seremban, creating a serene environment for reading and relaxation. The Hopscotch Breakfast Nook invites delightful and interactive dining experiences, blending whimsy with functionality.
Moving to the Eagle Catch Chicks Dining Deck & BBQ Seating area, an enchanting design inspired by the dynamics of the game portrays parallel movement patterns of chicks. For dance enthusiasts, The Capteh Dance Studio resonates with Malaysia’s cultural legacy through a parallel lighting installation capturing dynamic movements.
The Conquer Gym seamlessly integrates traditional game elements, motivating individuals with circular and cross elements on the gym floor and ceiling. The Guli Games Room (Billiard) draws inspiration from the traditional game Kelering, transforming the ambience with immersive design. In the Bottle Caps Game Room, vibrant hues depict dynamic mountain ranges, while the Galah Panjang Multipurpose Hall & Meeting Room reflects heritage with a tennis-like court layout.
Specially curated for children, the Masak-Masak Kids Centre is an imaginative haven based on scaled-down plastic cooking utensils, offering a safe and vibrant space. For relaxation, the Eraser Battle, Tippy Tap, and Paper Plane Seating Areas allow individuals to unwind amidst designs that capture the essence of traditional games.
The seamless fusion of glass, steel, and concrete creates a striking visual against the urban landscape, offering residents panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur’s skyscrapers. Sentral Suites boasts a breathtaking façade, preserving traditional games in Malaysia through modern structures and fostering conversations across generations.
