Cosentino and Glenfiddich Partner to Elevate the Home Bar Experience

Cosentino, a leader in innovative surfaces for architecture and design, recently partnered with Glenfiddich, the world’s most awarded single malt Scotch whisky, to host a curated Whisky Hour experience at the Cosentino Showroom in Kuala Lumpur. The event showcased how to design the ultimate personal whisky bar using Cosentino materials.

The event highlighted the growing trend of creating sophisticated home bar spaces, where homeowners can relax and entertain guests in style.  Attendees were inspired by the combination of Cosentino’s innovative surfaces and Glenfiddich’s exceptional whiskies, which together offered a luxurious and personalized bar experience.

Marco Van Ham, founder of Designstudio MVH, shared expert tips on designing a personalized home bar, emphasizing the importance of setting the atmosphere, drawing inspiration from whisky, choosing a complementary color palette, adjustable lighting, and incorporating sound and durable materials. Cosentino’s surfaces were showcased for their stain and scratch resistance, making them ideal for bar areas.

A whisky tasting experience, led by Madeline Ng, William Grant & Sons Malaysia Ambassador, allowed guests to discover whiskies suitable for their personal collections or bars. The event concluded with guests enjoying charcuterie boards and specially curated cocktails prepared on Cosentino surfaces.
