Interior Design Project Info

This is a coffee spot for employees. Attached to a main office, this cafeteria serves a few purposes, for their employees to meet with clients or friends, to have coffee and think about life, to take a break from work and empty their mind temporarily.

Located in a building with limited sunlight penetration, we remove the partition walls and switch it into glass walls instead to welcome natural light. A wall full of artificial greeneries are included to mimic a garden, hence making it a garden cafe. Natural and dark timber are also selected to represent the soil part of a garden.

Steel racks in the middle of the cafeteria are made to encourage employees to bring their favourite mug, coffee, or machines to work. Swings near the steel rack are installed for employee to kill time while their coffees are brewing.
