Interior Design & Architectural Project Info

Located in a small corner ground floor shop-lot of Jalan Tun H S Lee, Big Boss HSP is a 225sqft/20sqm quick service restaurant focuses on take-outs with a 90s diners concept.

We had an open kitchen to ensure not to spilt the place apart and to encourage customer interactions as well. It is strategically placed in the middle to attend to both in house orders and takeaway orders from the takeaway window. The kitchen is spilt into 2 halfs, one half is the kitchen part where the doners are displayed and fries are cooked, including the assemble of food in a smooth servicing line. The other half is the front of house, where the cashier will take and handover your order.

HSP is a popular takeaway food where you can eat on-the-go, that is why Big Boss HSP do not have tables provided, we encourage seat sharing by designing a linear platform in the interior and exterior of the shop. There's also 4 VIP seats by the 'bar' where you can watch the chef get your food ready.

To nail the 90s diner concept, we have featured a few key characteristic in the project. White tiles with red grout line, arch and rounded feature throughout the shop, the repetition of using red all over the place, mural arts, terrazzo countertop in beige, and old school LED signages.

With all things ready, Big Boss HSP is now open for business.
