The high-rise penthouse, conveniently situated adjacent to the iconic KLCC Petronas Twin Towers, encompasses approximately 12,000 square feet with the double storey layout. While first step into the house, the very first impression is immediately captured by the breathtaking view. This unit's proximity to KLCC and the Petronas Twin Towers offers panoramic views of the cityscape, creating a seamless connection between the interior and the outside world.
As the owner has a clear preference for a design concept that leans heavily toward modern aesthetics with bold and daring color choices. They wish to steer clear of the typical classic oriental design style. In fact, they have a very well experience staying at Four Seasons Shang Hai hotel and wish to drawn inspiration from it back to Kuala Lumpur. This inspiration has led us to develop a concept that fuses the luxurious elements found in modern hotel settings with a warm and welcoming ambiance.
To emphasize spaciousness and flexibility, the first thing when we start handling this project is to remove unnecessary walls and doors, creating a more open and interconnected layout. This not only maximizes the available space but also promotes a smooth flow since the existing layout provides more corner and narrower.
Having three bedrooms will effectively meet owner’s demand and they would prefer to limit or restrict guest visits. So, we've transformed other extra rooms into a gym room, storage room and entertainment cinema room. We've also reimagined the existing private swimming pool by filling it with foam cube boxes to make it more functional. This space now serves as a private office and a dedicated area for shoe storage.
At the core of this design concept is a focus on balance, harmonizing colors, textures, and materials to work cohesively and avoid visual clutter. Rather than ostentatious displays of wealth, we've concentrated on creating an environment where luxury is subtly integrated into the design, resulting in a more timeless and refined aesthetic. The use of premium materials is non-negotiable in this modern luxury penthouse design. We've employed high-quality marble, imported pattern glasses, luxurious fabrics, and exquisite metals for flooring, cabinetry, and furnishings, crafting an environment of sophistication and refinement. Furthermore, the imported furniture merges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design principles, culminating in a space that exudes opulence, sophistication, and comfort. Each piece of furniture tells a story of quality, artistry, and style. To cater to the homeowner's unique preferences, we've introduced bespoke furniture, custom artwork, and tailored design solutions, ensuring that the penthouse feels like a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
