Overview

The sales gallery is a 2,500 square foot premise located at a strategic location which is only a walking distance from the famed Pavilion Bukit Jalil. It is a commercial mixed development comprised a hybrid mall, soVo unit, shop offices and serviced suites.
When working towards achieving the expression, a mixture of Scandinavian and Japanese style are applied into the masterpiece. Considering that first impression is important for the business module, a dreamish space, simplicity concept, rich natural elements and comfort flow will promise higher investment compare to the usual commercialise design.
On the other hand, the environment will provide a long‐lasting positive vibe to the occupants, keeping them happy and productive in everyday activities.
While considering design aesthetic after the logo of FLEX, philosophically, the idea is to focus on clean lines and open spaces, this helps in reducing unwanted clutter. Although it is in a minimalist form, yet radiating the feeling of welcoming to outsiders. For material wise, soft and natural textures are used throughout the sales gallery as a continuation of the flow.

Design Vision and Concept

When deciding the foundation of design concept, calming, tranquil, and peaceful are the main key
point to be input into consideration. In conclusion, brighter colour are most helpful in subtly replacing
the need of words to express oneself when people are in the gallery.

Colour

The muted tone colour selections are stringed with the main colour family of the client’s colour system. As in orthodox Japandi colour palette, warm grey tone akin to natural timber and gradually softened tone being presented with grey‐ish taupe texture paint throughout the wall and ceiling. In contrast to all the muted tone, black is used on the glass frames as a zoning outline while beige is occupied by some loose furniture and light fixture.
When emphasizing exterior attractiveness, it is believed by adding a touch of greenery at the corner wall will visually attract passer‐by. The eye candy main stance is to stand out from the crowd of typical building material surrounding it, attracting more traffic into the sales gallery.

Environmental sustainability
Rattan, which is a sustainable product, is applied on poster panels. It creates a visually comfortable partition in its own metal frame while doesn’t stand out more than the client’s advert posters.
Sustainable cotton are chosen as the main factor in purchasing loose furniture, such as sofa and armchairs, in addition, the furniture designs also add visual interests to the space.
Plants are also an important element in softening the interiors. They help improving air quality – a perfect way to emulate the Japandi vibe.

Area
1. Façade
The surrounding of logo are placed with massive green wall to attract passer‐by. At night the logo will be backlit with warm lighting, hence creating a popular photo spot to social media influencer. Overall façade is based on open concept where the walls are built with black cool metal frame as an outline of all the see‐thru clear glass. The main motive is to subconsciously welcoming them to take a glance at, and eventually enter the sales gallery. The two pairs of pivot doors as the main entrance creates a fun and grand passage. It also serve as a flexible opening options for different occasions.
2. Reception
The reception counter creates an illusion of a sturdy stone table, yet in truth it is a creation of timber with cement texture paint finish. As a small highlight, a touch of gold elements are placed around the reception counter to give a hint of luxury, while the framework of timber back panel creates the spitting image of Japanese Shoji door.
3. Lounge area
The main ‘wow’ effect in this area will be the carefully customized 8 foot long fabric wrapped pendant light. It can be seen from afar, till the extent of the street opposite of this sales gallery. Rounded carpet creates a cozy smooth feel, while surrounded by unusual loose furniture such as rattan chairs, cottony round chairs, geometric coffee table and curvy sofa.
4. Model Display area & Discussion area
The overall interior elements and colour palette are closely matching to the client’s model building design concept, whereby timber material, muted tone and plantation are used. Poster Panels are fabricated in natural materials, which is rattan and the outline is highlighted with black cool metals. The discussion table in stone finish mix with soft cotton cushion chair creates a sense of balance. The existing squarish columns are being shape shifted into an environment softener with its arch working on its magic.
5. Meeting Room
Mustard yellow chairs at meeting ground with its organic shape helps easing the tense atmosphere. The white table and artwork blends in as a subtle mediator for the warm environment. A customized wall art painting and two rounded wall lights creates a unique style of persona.
