Atap Design Awards Returns for our 5th Year

From December 7th to 9th, 2023, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, will buzz with the vibrant energy of creativity and innovation as our highly anticipated Atap Design Awards (ADA) is making its grand return for the fifth year.

This prestigious event, a beacon of design excellence, promises to transform the city into a hub of artistic brilliance, as this year’s theme is “Embracing Talents, Creating Change”.

Kicking off the ADA Week on December 7th is an enlightening ADA Conference where industry experts from Malaysia and Southeast Asia will converge. Designers, architects, and enthusiasts will seize this unique opportunity to learn from industry experts. Attendees can expect invaluable insights, the chance to network with their peers, and a glimpse into the latest trends and developments shaping the design world.

Additionally, a unique Design Fusion event will also unfold on day one of ADA Week, where all our ADA sponsors and brand partners will host booths at the conference. Each brand will be paired with an interior designer to curate a unique product utilizing the brand’s materials, fostering a collaborative environment that promises innovative outcomes.

On December 8th, the Atap Design Awards Gala Night will take centre stage at the iconic JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur. This glamorous evening promises a night of celebration, honouring not only the winners of the ADA awards but the entire design community. Guests are in for a night of indulgence, featuring exquisite cuisine and beverages, live entertainment, and ample opportunities to engage with industry luminaries and emerging stars.

ADA concludes on December 9th with the unmissable Gallery Showcase held at the TOTO by W. Atelier Showroom, our Prestige Sponsor, featuring all the winning projects and their ingenious creators.
