Interior Design Project Info
As Denmark’s largest multinational energy enterprise, Ørsted has been a dynamic force in Malaysia since 2010. Our project for Ørsted is done with a vision in which this office allows employees to experience an activity-based working style by departing from traditional desk setups and introducing a variety of work settings. The final layout revolves around three focus zones, facilitating diverse activities and fostering seamless collaboration. To optimize functionality for every work style, we’ve planned a range of seating configurations, including work pods, phone booths, focus rooms, and more, providing a fresh and adaptable work arrangement for all.
Incorporating Ørsted's corporate colors in conjunction with neutral tones such as timber and grey, our design approach pays homage to Malaysia's local cultural heritage in a modern and seamless way, while also brilliantly preserving the core identity of the Ørsted brand. The design harmoniously marries these two elements by incorporating cost-effective local artistry, prominently featuring captivating elements such as vibrant batik textiles, intricately crafted murals, and a well-thought-out choice of colors. By doing so, the office becomes more than just a workspace but transforms into a space that resonates with the cultural roots of Malaysia while staying true to Ørsted's global brand identity.
The overall office space design places a strong emphasis on creating a dynamic and versatile work environment. It features an abundance of open spaces with a wide variety of seating setups, encouraging collaboration, interaction, and adaptability in the workplace. This open workspace is carefully balanced with heightened privacy setups, ensuring that employees have the freedom to choose the level of seclusion they require for focused work or confidential discussions.
What sets this design apart is its inspirational and youthful setup, injecting a sense of energy and creativity into the atmosphere. It offers the convenience of multi-usage spaces, allowing employees to utilize different areas for various tasks, whether formal meetings, casual brainstorming, or quiet individual work. This thoughtful combination of open, private, and multi-functional spaces aims to create a workspace that not only supports diverse work styles but also fosters innovation and collaboration, making it a truly vibrant and inspiring setting for modern professionals.
