Project Overview
Interior Design & Architectural Project Info
This interesting Industrial-Modern 3 floor office is one of its kind located in Kota Kinabalu where it combines both exposed industrial elements with modern use of materials.
The JWA brand as seen through the company's logo incorporates a lot of slanted angular features as seen through the interior design, carpentry, wall features, carpet flooring, and even lighting all consistent through its design and construction.
Since JWA is a Design & Build Construction company, 'we wanted to use every-day locally found materials but designed in such a way that pushes the boundaries of creativity. For example the carpet tiles cut in two-tones diagonally rather than the standard grid type layout'.
Even the custom lighting is made out of galvanized steel c-channel purlins spray painted retro fitted with T5 led lighting, with neatly coordinated cassette aircons perfectly slotted in between.
A big effort and attention was paid to the tidy coordination of all M&E services laid in the exposed cable trays which also constituted as part of the ID design features spray painted turquoise with recessed led spotlights incorporated inside.
All in all, we were happy that this project was a creative expression of our brand which we felt explored new innovations in design not common in a lot of Offices in Sabah today.
