Interior Design Project Info
A refurbished home for a family of 4 with growing children the design revamps the 10 year old house into a home with functional spaces for new lifestyle needs. While maximising ceiling heights, and bringing in more sunlight and ventilation some areas are opened up and knocked off to recreate dpaces which suit the family.
Upon entry classic chandeliers amidst a raw concrete ceiling and A photo gallery wall greets visitors, and as one goes up the stairs a long raw, white brick wall creates a backdrop canvas to artworks before leading to the main living and dining. The kitcgen and dining is designed in a chic Black granite, ash wood and taupe counter and integrated island and dining to maximize entertaining space for weekend dinners and drinks with friends. This space overlooks the garden below as well as lush greens from the surfounding mini forest view. The entire living and dining areas were reorientated from the previous layout by optimixing views and circulation while ensuring lots of storage spaces and displays for art pieces and feature light pieces which the owner collects.
