Concubine is a modern fusion bar in the center of Petaling Street. It is located in a historical building, many elements of which are protected by the state. This is why it was strictly forbidden to modify limestone moldings and the structure during the work on the project.
The main technique here was emphasizing the authenticity and historical heritage of the premises, turning it into a kind of shell for the elements placed inside.
The details of the interior refer to some Chinese motifs, from handmade tiles to the hand painted murals on the walls. On the first floor ceiling, there are red lamps that resemble Chinese lanterns reminiscence of old Chinese houses with hanging lanterns. In classic Chinese culture, it is a symbol of booming life and prosperous business, so they are always hung on important festivals.
