Interior Design Project Info

The interior colour scheme revolves around the colours of Gold & Champagne being the home-owner’s “Feng-Shui” colours, is blended with different earthy tones of cream and beige, and pared with shades of Amber, Bronze, Patina & Whites and with darker colours to form the overall scheme which in return, further accentuates both the Golds & Champagnes colours, allowing them to stand-out amongst the lot.

The concept is "Transitional Colonial", a blend of the nostalgic era with the sophistication of today's latest furnishings. This is evident of the home owner's personality and their great pleasures in life of being well-travelled and the love of the finest luxury and of the old-world charm.

The Living area's furnishings gives a sense of nostalgia, from its golden silk curtains to the muted colours of the Persian rug, coupled by a few classically inclined furniture like the nest of tables, tub chairs and a sensual “Cleopatra" Chaise-lounge. The TV is hung on a wide arch-lighted feature wall and is sandwiched by glass encased showcases on both-sides, housing the home owner's fine "SWAROVSKI" crystal collection & personal artefacts. Even the home theatre equipments are tucked away, free from the view of the TV, as this provides a wide expense of unobstructed but a well focused view especially when enjoying their favourite TV dramas & movies.

A long island with its countertop clad in durable quartz stone is the centrepiece of the Dry kitchen. Whereby hanging above are various shapes of pendants made from multi-etched crystal liquor decanters, glazed in gold. With plenty of storage compartment needed, the kitchen cabinet capitalizes on whatever space available as it is a condominium.
The Formal Dining area lends an unmistakable lavish air of opulence, as the white marble table & fabric chairs on a round hand-tufted Persian rug were pared against the gold feature wall with the imported crystal Chandelier.

The voluptuous king-size Master bed set against a large full-height fabric padded headboard as the focal point of the master suite, as it faces the dark ebony timber-veneered TV cabinet
The Master bathroom has a large gold framed mirror over the double-bowl basin. The large shower cubicle which could easily fits two persons comfortably, with a bath tub beside it, is surrounded by white-washed plantation shutters.

Bedrooms are clad in wallpaper for a luxury hotel-like ambience complete with hanging pendants. White laced wallpaper chosen for one of the bedrooms, maximises the natural light coming through the small windows & brightens the room, while the curtains gives it a lady-like ambience.
The Guestroom’s walls are clad in linen-textured wallpaper, in a cool shade of grey and furnishings in white & ivory, key ambience of calmness & neutrality for anyone who would spend the night.

The Study room is transformed to be more contemporary as it serves the purpose of functionality and space. It is punctuated by deep red tones for some flair and colour contrast. The simpler setting is far from the lavish interiors of the other rooms, as it gives it's user better concentration to the tasks being done in the room.
