A Sequence from AIRPORT LOUNGE BISTRO, which was also designed and built by The Maximalist Design.

"AIRPORT IN SHANGHAI 1950" is a unique and ambitious project aimed at transforming an old warehouse space into a 1950s Shanghai-themed fusion bistro and entertainment venue. This one-of-a-kind establishment will offer a blend of culinary delights, vibrant performances, and immersive ambiance, taking customers on a journey to the bustling Shanghai of the 1950s.

Being the first biggest restaurant set in Sabah.

Project Features:

1. Shanghai 1950s Theme: The entire venue will be adorned with 1950s Shanghai-inspired decor, capturing the essence of the era with elements like vintage posters, Chinese lanterns, and retro furnishings.

2. Fusion Menu: The restaurant will feature a fusion menu that blends various culinary traditions, offering a wide range of dishes that cater to diverse tastes.

3. Kitchen and Bar: The kitchen will be equipped with state-of-the-art culinary equipment to support the diverse menu, while the bar will serve a wide selection of cocktails, wines, and craft beers.

4. Performance Stage: The heart of the venue will be the performance stage, where talented artists will entertain guests with daily dance and singing performances, showcasing the glamour and nostalgia of the 1950s.

5. Interior and Exterior Dining: Customers can choose to dine inside the themed interior area or enjoy their meal on the exterior dining patio, creating options for different atmospheres.

6. Mezzanine VIP Lounge Suite: A luxurious mezzanine-level VIP lounge suite will offer an exclusive experience with a view of the performances below.

7. High Ceiling: The venue will feature a very high ceiling of approximately 25 feet, providing a sense of grandeur and spaciousness.

8. Hostel: The project will include a hostel to accommodate patrons that back up the whole operation.

9. Toilets and Cold Room: Modern and well-maintained restroom facilities will be available, along with a cold room for storing perishables.

Project Objectives:

1. The primary objective of "AIRPORT IN SHANGHAI 1950" is to create a vibrant, unique, and immersive dining and entertainment experience that transports patrons to the glamorous and nostalgic Shanghai of the 1950s. This project aims to be a popular destination for both locals and tourists, offering top-tier culinary experiences and captivating performances.

2. Also serves as the event or launching space for any company or individual.

Project Timeline: Design and conceptual are produced during [ FEBRUARY 2022 TO MARCH 2022]. Construction and renovation are set to begin on [APRIL 2022], with an estimated completion date of [JULY 2022].

Evaluation and Success Criteria:

The success of "Shanghai Skylines Bistro & Cabaret" will be measured by its ability to attract a diverse customer base, positive reviews, and feedback, repeat business, and its contribution to the local cultural and entertainment scene. The performance quality, the fusion cuisine, and the authentic 1950s ambiance will be key indicators of success.
