Interior Design Project Info
'Afterglow' is a meditation on light, stillness, and the quiet rituals of everyday life.
The design unfolds as a sequence of sensorial spaces, each one crafted to evoke a sense of ceremony and serenity. Drawing inspiration from the calm grace of tropical resort architecture and the purity of minimalism,
the space embraces a restrained palette of soft textures, natural tones, and diffused light that gently traces the contours of the interior.
At the corner of the staircase, a miniature courtyard opens to the sky, inviting daylight to cascade from above and the boundary between interior and nature gently dissolves. Every element, from the whisper of water to the warmth of the fading sun, composes a quiet harmony of calm.
空间在感官的层层铺陈中展开，每一处都以细腻的节奏，营造出宁静而充满仪式感的氛围。
设计方向取自热带度假建筑的从容优雅与极简主义的纯净秩序，以柔和的材质、自然的色调与漫射的光线，轻描室内的轮廓，让空间在静中自生温度。于楼梯转角处，中心向天敞开，天光自上洒落，室内与自然的界限随之消融。从户外人造水池流水的呢喃到夕阳的余温，每一个细节都谱写出安然的和声。
Notes: The concept is deeply rooted in the client’s daily ritual which also inspired us. He was departing at dawn for Kuala Lumpur and returning home at sunset to Seremban daily. Thus, that tender sunset, as the light that welcomes, warms, and reassures, became the soul of the space, a gentle presence that calms the mind and restores the spirit.

每天清晨六点启程前往吉隆坡，傍晚归于芙蓉的家。就因那抹柔和的余晖，是他每日归家的温度与安定，是抚慰心绪、重拾宁静的光。
