Atap.co recently hosted a memorable Chinese New Year Dinner, inviting our esteemed Atap Elite Club members (AEC) to join us for an unforgettable evening at Yu 御, at The Gardens Mall, Kuala Lumpur. Over 40 passionate interior designers gathered for a night of celebration, networking, and exciting announcements.
Among the highlights of the evening was the unveiling of our newest venture: the Atap DesignVoyage. This innovative initiative, tailored exclusively for Atap members, promises an immersive exploration of the design world. From engaging showroom visits to hands-on workshops and enlightening factory tours, the Atap DesignVoyage offers a unique opportunity for designers to expand their knowledge and skills while fostering valuable connections with industry experts and like-minded peers.
The excitement peaked when Atap.co revealed the Overseas segment of the Atap DesignVoyage, scheduled for July 2024 in Vietnam! This international expansion received an enthusiastic response from our designers, who eagerly anticipate the chance to explore new design landscapes and cultures while strengthening their professional networks.
The dinner was made even more exciting with a thrilling game segment, where attendees unleashed their creativity through Chinese New Year calligraphy writing and drawing. The interior designers showcased their artistic prowess and talent. After a round of voting from the crowd, Nicole Yap from EDGE ID was named as the winner, receiving free flight tickets to Vietnam for the Overseas Atap DesignVoyage!
In addition to the Atap DesignVoyage announcement, the Chinese New Year Dinner served as a platform for designers to connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate their shared passion for design. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a palpable sense of excitement for the future.
