A 22’ x 90’ intermediate terrace house intends to transformed with minimal structure alteration but to deliver a fresh new façade. To enhance the quality of the interiors, we introduced an internal courtyard to improve the natural lighting and cross ventilation, to create a brighter yet breathable architecture. Series of green pocket spaces like the secret rear garden and front court and a central private courtyard were introduced to inject more greenery into the house, where windows and doors can be left open to allow fresh air to flow through the entire house while maximize the level of privacy and security.
