The design behind this project was inspired by the greens from the surrounding hills. Focusing on what nature has so generously endowed us with, it is only natural to explore earthly palettes and how it can be integrated into a contemporary lifestyle of casual elegance and comfortable sophistication, allowing for the beautiful natural setting to flow into the internal environment of the home.
With this in mind, the original layout was amended to optimise space to welcome and embrace the scenery without compromising on the practicalities of daily living.
To create a sense of continuity throughout the home, the bedrooms are designed as an extension of the common areas, with each space spilling effortlessly into the next.
Unique decor pieces throughout the home, whether an African mask sculpture or art from both local and foreign artists, gives it character. This is a home that has been thoughtfully laid out and layered, creating a play of height and depth in lighting with colour schemes and furnishings that transcend the various boundaries of modern design.
