The 2-storey villa with a basement is designed in shape of an “H” in response to the longitudinal site. The villa is designed in modern tropical approach with the intention to express honesty and natural beauty of the materials: wood, concrete, brick, steel, and glass.
The entrance of the villa is preceded by a paved alley partially enclosed with freestanding exposed brick wall at one side, built to prolong the approach towards the public spaces of the villa – a huge open patio with pool deck. This outdoor landscape paradise enriches the living experience and the usage of fully openable glass doors blur the boundary between internal and external living. Each of the spaces are designed to visually connected through the courtyard, giving family members sense of companionship in three dimension way. The windows with porous wood panels dot the house’s façade, taking shape as full glass walls that flood interiors with natural light.
