With entrusting the historical identity of the traditional strait Melaka house, Aik Cheong Cafe started his local venture by embracing Baba Nyonya craft elements of repetitive ornamentation which accentuates in the visualization of leisure space. Historical identity of the Melaka should be abided of the tarnished timber veneers, which represents the locality & viability of the building materials used in the older times in strait homes in Melaka.
