Interior Design & Architectural Project Info
Determined to revamp the entire bungalow layout, this owner in Mont Kiara decided to engage with us to go through all the possibilities to maximized it's living space to accomodate for a family of 10. After a hazzle DBKL submission process of 2 months, and a renovation period of 6 months, it has finally completed. The crucial element that shaped the design concept consist of modern contemporary and minimal touch of classical concept. The relocation of main entrance has drastically save a great amount of space for the living room, which allowed our designer to design an entrance foyer. The cornices in living was designed to emulate colonial ceiling concept, which can still be found around old buildings thorough countries under British ruling during the 30s. Going through the design, our designer has massively applied material combination of white based painting and volakas marble to enhance its colonial ambience. Mixing with suitable amount of wooden trimming and brass finishing metal bar, the entire design settled at modern classical concept with a fine touch of light grey furnishing and upholstery.
