Interior Design Project Info
With a serious discussion with the owner, we found some there are some issues to settle:
1.Existing kitchen is not enough for them, as they actually do some cooking and have some cooking utensil/stools to keep, so they need more storage for those things.
-Solution = To make extra wall hang cabinet , with feature wall backing, so it can cover up the existing kitchen cabinets, and also the wall backing using solid plywood with laminated design to make sure it joined firmly.
2.Dining area space is not spacious enough
-Solution = To customize a bench as seating, with using loose table and chairs on another side, so that the whole dining set won't taken up too much of space, especially on the corridor walkway after the main entrance door.
3.Don't have dry kitchen? Where those kettles, rice cooker, coffee machine places? Dyson standing vacuum?
-Solution = We made one for them, and slightly playing with some designs on the cabinet doors, to make the whole cabinet less look-like kitchen.
4.Owner have lot of shoes, but seems like no other spaces to put, so we, with the owner decided to place it in the study room, to fulfill the owner's desire home, for his shoes.
