Interior Design Project Info
Whether we’re entertaining, reading, watching a film or relaxing with the family – the living room is a space that works hard to fulfil all our needs. That’s why our approach to treat the space with clean cut lines, warm tones, refined details and cozy textiles created the central focal point effortlessly. It is also important for the space to be clutter free especially for the family with two kids. Therefore, we create storage along the timber feature wall at the back of the living room and along the corridor.
Gone are the days of a designated dining room – condo living is all about the integrated, open plan layout. Right beside the living, there is a 6 seater dining table hugged by fresh soft green walls accommodated with not just dining chairs but also a bench allowing ample walking space along the central corridor.
The master bedroom exudes elegance with a custom built-in bedhead furnishes with lush textures and a feature pop of deep blue colour as the backdrop. A walk in wardrobe with a stand-alone island dresser magnifies the exclusiveness of the space.
One important aspect of the home is the daylighting. Natural daylight bleeds into the daughter's bedroom providing warmth and softness. The overlapping treatment of the plush pink velvet cushion bedhead brings texture to the space. Matching colour wardrobe with playfully designer knobs leads to the dresser with a back-lit mirror and side storage for cosmetics & skincare providing the perfect corner for the daughter to dress up. Moving on to the son's bedroom, a streamlined curvilinear bedhead in teal blue playing with the lighting along jazz up the space for the little boy. Nude hues but playful detailing are used for the wardrobe and wall to present the accent teal blue colour in the room.
Lastly, the home office cum study nook at the back of the home separated by an irregular patterned timber screen yet creating another one of a kind interior. Meticulous attention to details such as the sophisticated detailing of the table support elevates the space as well.
