Step into Solid Ground, an interior design project set to transform an industrial warehouse into a coffee house that celebrates a contemporary Scandinavian-inspired coffee house that harmoniously blends the raw industrial charm of the space with the tranquility of Nordic nature. This concept reimagines urban functionality by seamlessly integrating modern design aesthetics, Scandinavian minimalism, and a deep connection to nature, creating a unique coffee experience within an industrial backdrop.
The concept behind Solid Ground revolves around creating a haven where modernity and nature intersect gracefully. The inspiration stems from the serene landscapes of the Sabah, combining the functionality and clean lines of Scandinavian design with the rejuvenating influence of nature.
Industrial-style windows with slim frames flood the space with natural light and provide patrons with panoramic views of the urban surroundings.
We commissioned a local contemporary artist to paint a feature wall that adds a cultural dimension to the café, celebrating the sabah's creative individual.
This coffee house promises to be a unique destination where patrons can savor exceptional coffee while immersing themselves in the captivating ambiance of nature and urban.
