This 15 year old house has been transformed into a japanese-inspired minimalist home. A home built on this "slow living" philosophy is about minimalism in design and quality in living. By having a hint of Zen in every space, this home gives a sense of peace, balance and rejuvenation to the home owners from the interior design and furnishings.
Every element created are uniquely designed to adapt the existing layout. Large amount of natural light is also one of the key elements to achieve this calm and welcoming environment which make them to experience the slow living. Besides, muted color palette consists of neutral colors like white, cream and pale wood are used in flooring and furnishings. The design and colour of the woodgrain cabinets lends an interesting touch in the living room and looks astoundingly charming against the natural light.
