Moonwood is a 1,250 sqft condominium in Singapore designed with a modern mid-century approach, centred around warmth, comfort, and timeless materials. Instead of a typical light-toned palette, the design introduces rich walnut wood finishes and warm ambient lighting to create a deeper, more intimate atmosphere throughout the home.
The living and dining spaces are kept visually calm with built-in carpentry, clean lines, and soft curves that echo mid-century design principles. Sculptural lighting and rounded furniture elements help soften the darker wood tones, balancing the space with warmth and elegance.
A sliding door reveals a compact yet highly functional kitchen, seamlessly integrated into the overall material palette to maintain visual continuity across the home.
In the bedroom, full-height walnut panels frame the bed, complemented by concealed lighting that creates a cosy and relaxing environment. The overall design focuses on simplicity, material richness, and thoughtful lighting — resulting in a home that feels calm, refined, and comfortable for everyday living.
