Project Brief :
We don't have any concept. Designer, do your job!
We started this project with an empty industrial building. Client would like us to equip the whole place with their factory and indoor fridge which is a new thing to us. No project brief is one of the bonus for designer since we are allowed to proposed any concept we feel it is best fitted for the space.
We came with a rugged industrial concept mainly because of the environment. The surroundings are pretty rugged and it is located around the outskirt. So we incorporated what we see from the surroundings, bringing that into the interior space giving a smooth transition and the appreciation of perfect imperfections.
Also with the poor factory structure and layout, we demolished most of their internal including their staircase with later then replacing it with a metal structured staircase at the back of the building. Not just that, we do hack the floor slab in order to provide a smooth layout and flow for our clients.
