Maverick family house is a refurbishment project of 40 years old link house to uplift the quality of living space for the local family. It involves rearranging of interior layout that is based on the old housing planning and proportional use of space.

For the layout planning, there is an separation of space with aesthetic and functionaility in mind, dividing materials are served together with storage space thus creating for space for keepings for the elderly parents. The kitchens and bedrooms are designed to be a gathering and night resting spots for the children that are returning during the festive season with a quality space for them to have a perfect hangover. Following owner likings toward light and earthy tone, the design is meant to kept simpler with a clean outlook for the elder parents to do their daily chores and kept to minimum maintenance.
