Interior Design Project Info
In the fashion world, black has always been synonymous with sophistication. For decades, elegant fashionistas have known that this colour is the key to a timeless, refined appearance. Matte treatments have taken black to new levels of urbanity. For a client who has a taste for both sophistication and luxury, the challenge was on. We opted for a muted dark matte finish tone of a combination of material. The ultimate look is to achieve matte furnishings and finishes that are understated and refined. You will notice pockets of influences coming from both Asian and Scandinavian countries. The simplistic lines and linear forms come together with the dark hues make it relatable to us here in tropical Malaysia. With the perfect brief with the perfect client, the end result - from form to function to material, was true to its design intention and overall theme.
