Interior Design Project Info

This double-storey terrace house is located at The Woodlands, Horizon Hills. We created the space by combining a variety of modern & classic elements with a touch of luxury details. The clients love some classical elements but they also wanted their house to look modern & light luxury.
The main attraction of the design is the link between the tv console to dry kitchen cabinet. The classic wainscoting is used as a TV backdrop and the marble overlay becomes the highlighted focal. By using mirrors & reflective elements, it makes the space looks spacious & luxurious. We made the link edge between the living, dining & dry kitchen curved to soften the flow of the space which hand in hand will make the space livelier and more comfortable. The curvy design is located at the place where it catches the first impression for users so it automatically becomes the point of attraction & wow factor. The application of stripes paneling brings out the hierarchy of space and acts as a complementary element towards modern & classic. The island in the dry kitchen is designed as a chilling area for our client to wind down. The usage of curvy edges and metallic skirting is to enhance the overall design.
For the wet kitchen, we used marble texture as a highlight and also continued the classic elements on the cabinet doors. The color selection for the top & bottom cabinets has a big contrast yet balanced the entire space. The classic gold handles bring out the lively design as we always say details make a difference.
We tackled a softer color palette in the master bedroom since the clients will spend most of their time there. Light color wood texture flooring made the space looks warm & cozy. For the master bedroom, we used stone texture at the bedhead and tabletop to enhancing the space. The gold element at the bedhead remains the light luxury feeling of the house.
Last but not least, we always feel grateful to design a space that fulfilled clients' need. Along the journey of designing, the most precious thing is we find our value as designers.
