Lanky Loft is a reimagined home that bridges modern sensibilities with intimate, lived-in warmth. The design draws inspiration from the clients’ love for travel and their experiences staying in some of the best hotels around the world—each destination leaving behind ideas of comfort, elegance, and atmosphere. They envisioned a personalized modern contemporary home with subtle Chinese undertones—one that mirrors their lifestyle, family dynamics, and appreciation for light, texture, and thoughtful craftsmanship.
Every corner of this home was shaped by a clear intention: to create harmony between function, feeling, and flow. Natural light floods the interiors through widened openings, bringing serenity and softness into each space. The once-outdoor courtyard on the ground floor was transformed into a bright indoor atrium—now part of the main living flow—allowing air, greenery, and daylight to intertwine. This transformation also introduced a sleek lift, improving mobility across levels and future-proofing the home for multi-generational living.
The master suite embodies the spirit of a private retreat—a “home within a home.” Entirely devoted to rest and rejuvenation, it features a generous walk-in wardrobe and a spa-like ensuite where wet and dry zones merge through a careful play of materials and light. Each bathroom across the residence was completely refurbished, balancing refined aesthetics with functionality to evoke the calm sophistication of luxury hospitality.
Textural depth and visual layering define Lanky Loft’s character. The powder room glows with bespoke wallpaper, while the parents’ suite features intricate paneling that adds warmth and intimacy. The kitchen, the heart of the home, showcases honed marble flooring with a protective coating and a striking Cosentino island slab—an elegant meeting point between beauty and resilience. Designed with social connection in mind, the open layout encourages effortless movement between cooking, dining, and lounging zones, reflecting the family’s desire for openness and comfort.
Technology works quietly in the background to elevate everyday living. Smart lighting, sensor systems, automated curtains, and a smart water closet seamlessly integrate convenience into the design narrative. Sustainability and wellness are equally embedded through the AirGuard ducted fresh air system, solar panels, and CCTV—modern essentials that complement the home’s calm, refined rhythm. The inclusion of an elderly-friendly bedroom and bathroom demonstrates the same level of empathy and foresight, ensuring comfort for every generation.
