Interior Design Project Info
As the interior designer of Jesselton Coffee Café, our aim was to create a space that seamlessly combines the concept of an indoor campsite with the cozy ambiance of a café. We wanted to evoke a sense of tranquility and connection with nature through our design choices.
One of the key elements we focused on was the large windows of the café. By maximizing natural light, we aimed to create an open and inviting atmosphere. The windows not only flood the space with sunlight but also offer a picturesque view of the outside world, allowing customers to feel connected with nature while enjoying the comforts of the indoors.
To enhance the rustic charm of the café, we incorporated warm wooden elements throughout the interior. From the flooring to the furniture, the use of wood adds a cozy and welcoming feel to the space. The choice of materials and textures was carefully considered to create a harmonious blend of natural and modern aesthetics.
In terms of seating, we aimed to provide comfortable options that maximize space utilization. Plush armchairs near the windows allow customers to relax and enjoy their beverages while basking in the natural light. Communal tables were strategically placed to encourage social interaction and foster a sense of community among patrons.
Additionally, as the interior designer, we also implemented a retail section within the café. This dedicated space showcases camping tents, foldable tables and chairs, and other cooking tools. The retail area is seamlessly integrated into the overall design, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing experience for customers.
Overall, our perspective as the interior designer of Jesselton Coffee Café was to create an environment that harmoniously blends the concept of an indoor campsite with the cozy ambiance of a café. We aimed to provide a tranquil oasis where customers can unwind, connect with nature through the large windows, and enjoy the comforts of a well-designed space.
