Interior Design Project Info

Our vision for this semi-detached 6 bedroom home, embraces the perfect fusion between Japanese and Scandinavian interiors.

We focused on the intrinsic beauty of wood and its warm, inviting tones, using a selection of durable materials such as oak, pine, and mahogany that complement various furniture and decor styles. With the idea in mind, to create a space that evokes a sense of welcoming comfort in every room.

Our colour palette for this home is inspired from the serene landscapes of Japan and the understated aesthetics of Nordic design. Muted greens, watered-down greys, and soft off-whites were chosen to infuse the space with a tranquil ambiance, incorporating a touch of nature with the thought to reduce stress and boost serotonin levels.

Our kitchen, the star of the show- exemplifies the essence of Japandi style.
We chose wooden slats for the kitchen cabinets, stone marble slabs for the backslash and kitchen island. Adjacent to the kitchen, a display cabinet takes center stage, illuminated with soft backlights to showcase cherished items.

To achieve the full look, we curated a mix of furniture styles that define a sleek and modern silhouette. Textured rugs offer a sense of tactility while adding depth to the overall design. Eye-catching statement furniture pieces, and deliberately placed mismatched ceramics to create the perfect balance between functionality and artistic expression.
