Interior Design Project Info

This unit was designed for a lovely retired couple in Shah Alam. Having both worked as full time professionals, they are looking to settle down in a comfortable space that suits their everyday routine, get additional storage area and enhance the overall look of the space. Their kind and understanding demeanor and clear communication made it easy for us to understand exactly what they envision.

When it comes to space planning, due to the large space, we are able to repositioned the bed, dressing table, seating area and TV panel aligned with the center of the room. A designated praying area was created behind the bed along with dressing table. For additional storage, we converted a next door room into a walk-in wardrobe, with a hidden door accessible from the master bedroom.

Client requested a modern look with a hint of Moroccan design. To achieve that, we incorporated sophisticated Islamic geometry in a Moorish arch behind the TV panel as a center piece of the space. A polish brass pendant light and ceramic bathroom sink that are both handmade imported from Morocco were installed. The existing wardrobe space was converted into a large bathroom complete with a jacuzzi and a steam room.
