Project Overview
Interior Design Project Info
Designed within a 1,000 sqft footprint, this office reflects a quieter approach to work—where clarity, material warmth, and restraint shape the everyday experience.
At its centre sits a custom conference table, designed to function beyond meetings. It doubles as a shared workstation for up to 10, allowing conversations, focused work, and collaboration to happen within the same space. Instead of separating functions, the design brings them together—supporting a more natural, fluid rhythm throughout the day.
The entry is intentionally compressed into a waiting area, defined by a lowered timber ceiling and built-in bench seating. This moment of transition softens the shift from outside to inside, while setting the tone through a warm, cohesive material language. Timber flows across floors, walls, and ceilings—creating continuity, while concealing storage within clean, minimal lines.
A private room sits along the perimeter, offering a quieter setting for focused work or smaller discussions. In contrast, a dedicated lounge space provides a slower, more relaxed environment—for informal conversations, hosting, or simply stepping away from the pace of work. Richer tones and softer lighting create a subtle shift in mood, without disconnecting it from the rest of the office.
White Volakas marble is introduced selectively, adding contrast and refinement to key moments within the space. Paired with the warmth of timber, it brings balance—elevating the overall atmosphere without overwhelming it.
Natural light fills the office through large windows, softened by a restrained palette to maintain comfort throughout the day. Lighting is layered to support different uses, from focused tasks to quieter, more ambient settings.
Rather than relying on bold gestures, the design focuses on how the space is felt and used.
Within its modest size, the office becomes more than just a place to work—it supports different paces, different moods, and the in-between moments that shape the day.
