The new BENJ DESIGN Office embodies the studio’s design philosophy — a pursuit of authentic beauty, natural harmony, and emotional balance. Inspired by the Wabi-Sabi aesthetic and complemented with modern minimalism, the space celebrates the quiet power of simplicity and the profound warmth found in imperfection.

The design draws from nature’s inherent calmness and translates it into a workspace that nurtures creativity and mindfulness. The material palette — raw timber, natural stone, and microcement — was carefully curated to express organic textures and tactile honesty. Each element is left close to its natural state, allowing subtle irregularities and textures to tell stories of time, craftsmanship, and authenticity.

A warm, earthy color palette defines the overall tone of the office. Shades of beige, stone grey, and light brown evoke the serenity of nature and create a grounded atmosphere. This thoughtful selection of colors fosters a sense of comfort and ease, allowing employees to feel relaxed and inspired rather than pressured — transforming the office into a sanctuary for thoughtful work and creative flow.

At the heart of the office stands a symbolic centerpiece — a tree that anchors the space both physically and emotionally. Above it, a circular skylight-like “lantern” ceiling feature was designed to evoke the image of sunlight filtering through the canopy. The tree becomes a living sculpture — a daily reminder that great design, like nature, thrives in balance and light.

Throughout the interior, the use of soft curves and flowing lines replaces rigid geometries. Arched corners and rounded edges define the spatial rhythm, guiding movement naturally and encouraging visual softness. These subtle curves not only enhance spatial fluidity but also infuse the environment with a sense of warmth and approachability.

Every element — from the handcrafted wooden surfaces to the seamless microcement flooring — speaks a common language of clarity and restraint.
