Interior Design Project Info
What would otherwise have been a generic and cold office lobby space, has now become cleverly demarcated with different usages and a space that exudes character. The design is relatable to millennials and today's young working crowd and very much affiliated with lifestyles.
On on side, there is the main reception and the cafe-inspired space where there are pockets of different seating arrangements to give privacy and exclusivity. Glamorous yet inviting, businesses can be conducted right here. On the other end, there is the "semi-outdoor" space with planter boxes whereby indoor plants shall grow to a medium height in time. The floor finish and the timber seating are meant to mimic and give the appearance of a garden space.
Finally, we designed a library with a mezzanine floor to serve as a backdrop for those who sit and wait for appointments or just would like to sit quietly and work in one of those nooks. The various choices of seating provides a sense of understanding that different seating arrangements apply to different types of people and for very different usage intentions.
