A DIALOGUE BETWEEN THE SOUL AND BODY

梵我一如，撼动身心灵魂的空间对话框

没有大面落地窗的采光优势将光线及景色引进室内，亦没有能让人仿佛置身于户外，让「身体感觉」与「运动视觉」皆能心旷神怡的空间故事，但，Ankara Dance Yoga Pilates Studio 却以不华丽不修饰设计概念，让空间重新诠释了“梵我一如”。

梵代表天、自然；我则为人；一如，谓等同﹑无差别。意思既是我与自然的相容，自然与我的和谐，也就是庄子齐物论中的“万物与我并生，天地与我唯一”。突破现今运动空间迷思，舍弃完善声光的动感效果，设计师将空间回归最初本质，通过大量使用自然且质朴的材质及色调，以原始面貌让空间更单纯，也让运动学员不仅拥有舒适的运动空间，同时找到心灵的平和。

此外，设计师通过减法设计，摒弃多余的遮盖，吊顶或装饰，大胆的以不遮掩的手法突显原空间的高度及斜角局限，营造了一气呵成且随意不造作的感觉。设计师亦让仅有的自然光线作为室内光源的视觉焦点，且运用灯管及简易线条突显简洁的设计元素，加以植栽绿意妆点，呼应空间质朴自然的概念。而通过这样的设计手法，不仅仅使人进入室内空间时能有深刻的纾压体验，亦帮助学员能更快的沉淀心灵，感受空间灵魂。

A typical studio is often associated with impeccable floor-to-ceiling windows with maximized sunlight potential and the false creation of outdoors vibe. Ankara Dance Yoga Pilates Studio is nothing closed to that, nothing extraneous, no add-ons, no decorations, but a contemporary serene and calming space defined through "Brahma-atma-aikya".

"Brahma" stands for nature, "atma" refers to oneself, and "aikya" means equality, which values the synchronization of nature and us. The designer also cautiously chose to remove redundant decorations and accessories and instead, uncover the piping and wiring cable concealers. This creates an illusion of high ceilings, heightens originality of the space and encourages appreciation of naked self. Besides, the space brings the users and nature closer by using natural light as the focal light source that complements the green plants in the studio perfectly.
