Interior Design Project Info
A lovely 5000 sqft highrise for expat couple with their newborn. It was an interesting task to begin with, we were told to strike a balance between ultra luxury and modern minimal concept and yet this is the outcome.
We had a living room that is filled with soothing and comfortable european furnitures accompany with a clean TV display cabinet that is crafted with italian quartzite feature. Walls & ceiling are painted with satin finish novacolor effect paint to create a cozy ambience and finished with gold foil. A few solid timber display shelves to cater collection from the couple and we've selected a tropical looking wallpaper to enhance their arrival and decision to set root in Southeast Asia.
Dining area are designed to host a medium group of guest and its their favourite spot as we dress it up with timber looking ceiling for a warm feeling while we've pick some italian round dining set and console to pair with huge custom rugs. A place where they can enjoy laughter and connect with friends & family in a new habitat.
A master bedroom that extends the design language from living room and we've custom the main wall with black stained timber with touch of comfy selected velvet as their main headrest. We matched a small set sofa set for the corner reading while having a gold satin wallpaper that matches with the living tropical characteristic. Entering the walk-in closet and bath is where we design a more feminine dressing table for the lady and a very detail 3D crafted fabric wallpaper to gives a highlight touch into the minimal setup before entering the shower area.
Apart from the bold and luxury space of the house, we crafted a cute and chick room for the newborn & the nanny. A carefully picked newborn friendly fabric to nestle the babycot and a huge wall storage for the daily needs and open shelve for the ease of living. Walking out will be a square space that designed as their main threshold that connects every part of the house. We pick this spot to place a piano because the owner loves and wanted the melody to spread throughout while we designed a few clean shelves for them to display their collection from around the world.
A few guest bedroom to complete the story for the house as they will always welcome guest and family members to enjoy the stay in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
