Interior Design Project Info
The design of this house was focused on a modern tropical style with wood, cement, and rattan as the elements.
The harmony between the materials present in the design favors the project's identity. The use of concrete and wood joins and landscaping to create comfortable and welcoming spaces.
Minimalism is a strong element for the project concept, through monolithic planes, the use of few materials and well-defined horizontal lines that broaden the view of the house. The family living opens into the cooking kitchen, programmed to have family interactions while cooking. A secondary kitchen and work area are attached to the cooking kitchen to facilitate heavy cooking, dishwashing, and laundry.
Wooden ceiling were used instead of white ceiling for the living room giving the ambiance of the traditional ceilings. The colors and finishes were deliberately made subtle & pastel for the soothing ambiance. Wooden elements contrast with cement and furniture, creating harmony in the interiors. This project as a whole sits in harmony with the calm and lush green scenery, yet offers all modern functional facilities without compromising on the traditional planning and zoning concepts.
