Interior Design Project Info
A home does not simply mean a place to live. It should be well designed so that you get a good ambiance, good vibes and when you come home after a long hefty day, you can feel at ease. The Shade of Cave was designed in the theme of Modern Classic Style. The overall project was based on well-thought-out use of design with the intention of improving the human experience. By choosing to use complementary color palettes and identifying commonalities across the many styles, a harmonious space was created.
‘VIBES, CLASSY AND COMFORT’ were the words for this house. With an abundance of black tones and a desire to evoke the atmosphere of a man cave, the island and kitchen were completely constructed in various shades of black, from the ceiling down to the floor. While play with the different type of lightings that exude an air of cozy ambience that suits catering to the guests with some good liquor.
The hall mark of this project was at the ground floor with expansive views from Living to Kitchen. There was designed without partition and door blocking at the space and by applied two distinct colour palettes to demarcate the two various zones.
The combination of granite dining table, in the touch of gold color in glass bubble pendant light, and matching with the rough wall effect paint in wainscoting wall that had created the subtle tones and ambient in the Dining Area. Soft material for dining chair to bring out the elegant feel. Stone effect compact panel was applied for Island Table Top to ensure stain-less and represent the owner’s characteristic.
The idea of laundry room shows how calm and luxurious the space is. Meanwhile, the reeded glass in the sliding door at Laundry room provides privacy but presenting the aesthetic of classic style for this house.
Besides this, 3 different concept designs for the bedrooms were inspired by resort-kind-bedrooms and incorporate elements which is natural rattan and ash wood . The custom-made rattan bedframe, armchair, and shelving create a cozy yet understated elegance.
A bespoke rendition of The Eight Horses of Mural Art was painted on the wall beside the stairwell. It perfectly fulfilled client Feng Shui requirements with the specific orientation, the quantity of the eight horses and most importantly the color tone that manage to fusion in this house design.
